Scott Vogel is the Chief Operating Officer of One Starfish Foundation. Scott, along with Diane Maher, founded One Starfish Foundation. Scott is directly involved in the mentoring and coaching of men coming out of incarceration. He will assist them with housing, employment, and connecting them with other resources needed for their continued growth. Scott also leads the outreach team targeting the mentally ill homeless that are living on the streets or in crises.
Scott is a graduate of Michigan State University where he earned a degree in Horticulture. He has worked in both management and ownership roles in the Floral Industry and Landscape Construction and Design Industry.
Scott Vogel has been the Executive Director and Founder of Non Profit organizations serving at-risk youth, families in crises, and mentally ill homeless. While serving in this role for almost 14 years he developed partnerships and mentoring programs with public schools, business, and churches to build a volunteer base of over 200 people to serve directly in the community. Scott has also served as a board member of Weed and Seed, a Department of Justice community program targeting high crime neighborhoods.
Scott lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan with his wife and children.
